Welcome to WCA First Annual Conference

Pre-Conference Information

(Very Important – Please Print this out!)

The details below contain very important last minute information which you should print out and use as a checklist and reference for the conference.

QR Code

For us to provide you with quicker onsite registration, please print out your QR Code and present it to us when you do your onsite registration.

This QR Code will be ready to print beginning Tuesday, 24th January 2017.

Instructions:

  1. Go to http://conference.wcaworld.com/wcafirst2017/info/eng/logon.php and logon using your Company’s username and password.
  2. Accept the Disclaimer Policy and click on Shopping Cart/Registration Details button.
  3. Click on the Your QR Code button at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select a name from the list by clicking on it.
  5. Your QR Code and registration details will pop up. Click PRINT.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

Airport transfers are NOT provided by WCA and are NOT included in your conference fees.

It is strongly recommended that you take a taxi or use the services of MICE Neurol to get from Singapore Changi Airport to downtown hotels. You can also take a train, but it is not advisable because you must change trains along the route.

Public Taxi Service.  Very easy, clean, and convenient.  All drivers speak English
(English is an official language of Singapore).  Approximate 25 mins during most traffic conditions.  Cost:  approx. SGD 25 (USD 20) per way.  Follow TAXI signs from the arrival hall to the Taxi Cue.

MICE Neurol.  This company is associated with this conference and provides private transportation and other services. They provide more luxurious transportation options which can be booked and paid directly to them by credit card at https://events.miceneurol.com/wca-feb-2017/arrival-transfer/Site/Register.

CHANGE MONEY. Be sure to have local currency (SGD 1.00 = USD 0.70). Taxi drivers will not accept payment in foreign currency.

WEATHER

February is a pleasant month for Singapore. This is when the country has the least amount of rain, the lowest humidity, and the most sunshine. It is also Singapore's windiest month. Please check Singapore weather forecast here.

CONFERENCE AGENDA

If you did not attend the Annual WCA Conference Week last year in Abu Dhabi then please note that the meeting format has changed. The number of meeting days has
been reduced from 6 days to 5 days and there will be a combined Plenary Session,
ONE day of combined One-on-One Meetings, and a combined Awards Dinner, all on
the 10th February.

One-on-One Meetings for the WCA First Conference will be on 8th & 9th February from 09:00-18:00 hrs.

ONSITE REGISTRATION

Everyone must do an onsite registration to pick up their conference bags, badge, and other materials. Onsite registration can be done during these times and places:

We recommend that you do this upon arrival to avoid the mad rush that happens just before the cocktail reception starts. You would also do WCA staff a favor and allow us to better serve you!  To speed up the process, please don’t forget to print out and bring your QR code with you.

PLEASE SETTLE ALL PAYMENTS BEFORE COMING

Please ensure that your company has settled all pending payments for registration, hotel reservations, and other items otherwise your accommodation arrangements may not be guaranteed and you cannot pick up your conference badge.

All Pick-Ups/Drop-Offs will be at Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel only. Delegates staying at other hotels must make their own way to/from Pan Pacific hotel.

Delegates must be pre-registered for the tour in order to join. Any delegates currently not pre-registered, but wishing to join the tour must contact the registration desk at least one day before the tour. Our staff will check for available space and advise the possibility to join the tour.

If you bring your own car, please contact the Conference Registration Desk to get free parking coupons. However, free parking coupons are limited and will be given out on
a First Come – First Served basis.
